sales branch manager মকবুল সাহেব একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় নিয়ে কথা বলছেন sales manager আমজাদ সাহেবের সাথে।

মকবুল: দেখুন আমজাদ সাহেব, গত প্রায় ছ’মাস ধরে কোম্পানির বিক্রি-ভাট্টা প্রায় অর্ধেকে নেমে এসেছে। উপর থেকে চাপ আসছে। কিছু বিক্রয় প্রতিনিধি ছাঁটাই করলে কেমন হয়?

আমজাদ: গত প্রায় এক বছরের বেশি সময় ধরে দেশে করোনা পরিস্থিতি চলছে। স্বাভাবিকভাবেই সামগ্রিক পরিস্থিতিতে জনগণের ক্রয় ক্ষমতা কমেছে। ফলে ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠানগুলো ভোগ্য পণ্য অর্ডার করা কমিয়ে দিয়েছে। এতে প্রতিনিধিদের হাত নেই বললেই চলে। এখন এই ক্রান্তিকালীন সময়ে তাদের ছাঁটাই করা কতটুকু যৌক্তিক ও মানবিক হবে ভেবে দেখতে হবে। সবচেয়ে বড় কথা, এদের উপর ভর করেই কোম্পানি আজ এতদূর এসেছে। তাদের দু:সময়ে কোম্পানি যদি পাশে না থাকে…..! সে যাই হোক আমি যদ্দুর বুঝি ততটুকুই বলেছি। কি সিদ্ধান্ত নেবেন সেটা আপনার এখতিয়ারে।

This phrase means "You should decide". You say this to someone when you think they should be the person to make the final decision about something.

for example, you might say this to your boss who doesn't seem satisfied with the work that you've doen:

A: Hmmm... I'm not sure about this. I don't think we should release it to the public yet. 

B: OK. It's your call.

It's your call is similar to: It's up to.

but "it's your call" carries more of a sense that this person has the responsibility or right to make the decision. in other words, that  person should do it.

"It's you call" is also similar to this phrase: It's your decision

but 'call' is more casual than 'decision'
